Pytanie: Is there any way that I could learn Kung Fu/Martial Arts/Karate/Jujitsu/Capoeira at home?
( Wstecz )
Answer #1:
You possibly could, but doing it correctly would be difficult.Of course you can train yourself and teach yourself to punch correct but punching and fighting ain't the only things involved in Martial Arts.
Go to a local club, look it up online. You will benefit more from a club then doing it yourself.
Answer #2:
you may try from books or dvds or by just from films, but you cant check your faults.a wrong exercise may cause several Internal and external damage.so, better to not try it yourselfAnswer #3:
you need a teacher!!you can't learn martial arts at home!
find a good master
and good luck
Answer #4:
Yes, but only if you hire a qualified instructor to come to your home to teach you.So long as you can still move and have your mental faculties, you're not too old to start martial arts.
Answer #5:
No you are not too old to start. You are never too old until you are dead. There is no way you can teach yourself a Martial Art. You cannot learn a Martial Art from a Book, DVD, or a box plugged into the internet. There is no substitute for a qualified instructor. You may think you are doing everything just like you see, but you can not preform the techniques and see your whole body at one time. You will make mistakes, ALL beginners do, only a qualified instructor can catch and properly correct those mistakes. I have know several "self Taught" martial Artists over the years, and without exception every one was a total joke and completely ineffective. If you did try to learn in this manner and then later join a class, you will spend time unlearning the techniques that you thought you knew and then more time to learn them the correct way. Do yourself a favor, find out what is offered in your area, not every style will be. Watch a class or two at them and decide which class to join based on the instructor and his students. You need to watch the students to determine the instructors ability to share his knowledge. It is better to study under a good Martial Artist that is a great teacher, than to study under a great Martial Artist that is a poor or mediocre teacher. It is more important to have a competent instructor than what style you happen to study.
A few things to avoid when choosing a school:
*Promise of any rank in a set amount of time - People learn at different rates, rank should be based on skill not time.
*Long term or "black Belt" contracts- any thing over 1 year is suspect.
*Required testing at preset intervals- again rank progression should be based on skill not time in grade.
*Any school with Black Belt or Leadership clubs
* Any School with 12 year old Full Black Belts
*Any ATA school.
Edit: I would also change my screen name, I personally wouldn't teach someone that has a screen name or nick name relating to Marajuana, at 14 that may seem cute or funny but things like that have a way of following you and influencing how others see you and that is not in a positive way. What you do is your choice, but the choices you make now will be with you for the rest of your life.
Answer #6:
You could, but you won't be as good as if you attend a class with a qualified instructor.Answer #7:
You could possibly learn it at home, but probably not as well, and it wouldnt be nearly as fun as in a class :)to answer your second question NO you are most definitly NOT too old to start martial arts (any of them) with a teacher; I didnt start till I was 20 and it is going great for me :)
Have fun!
Answer #8:
your best of going to a class were there is more people to train with more equipment, if there is only two of you you will never learn to throw people of different weight or heights, and it will get a bit boring.14 is not to late,
