Pytanie: Can capoeira be useful?
( Wstecz )
Answer #1:
u should ask this guy... Click Hereanderson silva also practices tht.
Answer #2:
Anderson Silva used a lot of it in his last fight against Maia, and he ended up winning. It's good at frustrating your opponents and messing up their timing.Of course, you'll need to do more than just capoeira, you'll need to cross-train in several different martial arts in order to be truly effective as a fighter, but a bit of capoeira can help make your style interesting.
Answer #3:
Are you kidding it shouldnt even be considered a martial art. If you want to get your ass kicked in a MMa fight sure. Its just to get into shape. You want MMA go to a mma gym theirs plenty and train.Answer #4:

eddie bravo needs to enter a tournament sometime
Answer #5:
One of the benefits that a fighter can gain by training in Capoeira is fluidity and efficiency of movement. Fighters in any style can benefit by learning to smoothly chain together movements during a bout. Capoeira helps fighters learn to control their body and efficiently transfer body weight during different techniques. A jerky fighter tires quickly, is usually slow, and often telegraphs their movements. Capoeira training can help smooth out movements and help a fighter maintain his energy without telegraphing his movements. No, as a stand alone art, Capoeira isn't a strong fighting style, but it's a great workout, and it's a great supplement to any martial artists training to improve their efficiency.
Answer #6:
It's good for what it does, but you would need to supplement to cover other areas. It's not uncommon for BJJ to be incorporated in as well as boxing.
Answer #7:
If i remember rightly i read that it was used with weapons in between the feet & hands.I think the problem with it is its more commonly associated with a ''get fit dance'' program in most colelges & places than as a proper approach to fighting now, i'm sure it has its combat effectiveness but is closely interlinked with its traditional dance-roots to the point where only a highly trained practicioner could differenciate the combat moves.
However what video evidence we have of it in fights is most likely idiots who after a month or two are trying it out on somebody, as others have stated there are elements in it that can seriously screw up others with a different approach to fighting
Answer #8:
watch never back down didnt exactly work for that guy but if anderson silva uses it then i guess it could be usefulAnswer #9:
what people dont really understand is that your not going to or have to ginga(dance) in a street fight while using capoeira.its the same kicks as any martial art and if u know the kicks and have practiced them it will be useful like any other martial art.everyone assumes u have to (dance) all the time but u dont, if u can that would look really cool but like i said same moves and techniques its just a different form of learning them so YES it is useful.ive been training capoeira for almost a yr now I've gotten a lot stronger and faster, can read my opponents movements a lot better and my kicks are a lot stronger too.im not saying im any good yet but ive seen two black cords go up agains one another and its amazing the power they have and how well controlled it is. plus we all know in the protector they had to let tony jaa win, he had him beat already
