Pytanie: Should I do Muay Thai or Capoeira?
( Wstecz )
Answer #1:
Muay Thai is much more powerful, in its own ways, but that is my opinion.Answer #2:
Capo is dancing. MT is fighting. Watch some videos in Youtube, and the movie "Only The Strong" to get a good grip on Capo.Answer #3:
Muay Thai all the way! Capoeira is lame in my opinion, unless you love to dance. Muay Thai much more effective and it's just naturally cooler. But that's just me.Answer #4:
Oh god how can you even ask this question? Muay Thai is much more realistic self defense style and you get a great workout from it and a nice toned body.Up to you, do you want break dancing or the real thing?
Answer #5:
MUY THAI IS BOMB DID SOME OF THAT YEARS AGOCAPOEIRA IS AWESOME BUT ITS MORE DANCING its not lame its frikin crazy the flexibilty
Answer #6:
Do Capo if you wanna look good in a club and pick up some defense skills along the way but for a serious practical street tested martial art, Muay Thai.Answer #7:
That would depend on what you want to get out of your practice....If you are wanting to learn to "fight".... period.... Muay Thai is probably the one you'd want to choose.
If you are wanting to learn a martial art that offers more than just how to beat the cr@p out of someone and offer a different set of challenges.... Capoeira might be your choice.
Both will offer killer physical fitness challenges. So, you'll get a good workout in both. You'll learn some basics of martial combat in both, though Muay Thai may offer a more accelerated learning curve with a more practical emphasis.
So it really comes down to which teacher do YOU feel more comfortable with and which method reflects your personality better.
Hope that helps. Be well.
(Me, personally.... I'd probably go Capoeira. Not because I don't appreciate the fighting method of Muay Thai. But because, I'm getting to a point where I appreciate the fact that I'm not interested in the competitive sport aspect and I'm not looking to get into a fight every week. So, a method that offers me other challenges as well as still trains my mind and body with combat in mind is more appealing to me.)
